Frequently Asked Questions
The best time to visit Tanzania is during the dry season from June to October, which coincides with the Great Migration. However, Tanzania is a year-round destination with unique wildlife sightings in every season.
Most visitors require an e-visa to enter Tanzania. You should apply at least two weeks before your trip. Please check with the Tanzanian embassy or official government portal for the most up-to-date requirements.
While not strictly mandatory for entry, we highly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all our guests. This should cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and theft.
Pack light, breathable clothing in neutral colors (khaki, beige, olive). Don't forget a warm jacket for early morning game drives, a sun hat, high-SPF sunscreen, and a good pair of binoculars.

Day 1 | Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or enjoy an optional Nairobi experience. Accommodation before the safari can be arranged at an additional cost if required.

Day 2 | Nairobi → Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart Nairobi at approximately 7:00 AM and drive south towards Amboseli National Park, passing through the scenic Athi Plains. Enjoy beautiful views of the Kenyan countryside with opportunities to see Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. After arriving in Amboseli, enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, open savannahs and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3 | Full-Day Amboseli National Park
Start the morning with an early game drive, when wildlife activity is at its best and Mount Kilimanjaro may provide a spectacular backdrop. Explore Amboseli's swamps and open plains in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife. Enjoy lunch before continuing your safari through the afternoon, then return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation

Day 4 | Amboseli → Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel northwest towards Lake Naivasha. The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours, passing through changing landscapes and the outskirts of Nairobi. Enjoy scenic stops along the way for refreshments, fresh fruit and local crafts. Arrive at Lake Naivasha and check into your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lake.

Day 5 | Lake Naivasha → Lake Nakuru via Hell's Gate
After breakfast, drive to Hell's Gate National Park for a guided nature walk through its dramatic landscapes and scenic gorges. The area is home to wildlife including zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons and other species. After the visit, continue towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy lunch before an afternoon game drive in the park, known for its rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and other wildlife.

Day 6 | Lake Nakuru → Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru at approximately 6:30 AM and continue towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint before continuing through the scenic countryside towards the Mara. Arrive at your accommodation for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.

Day 7 | Full-Day Maasai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy a full day exploring the spectacular Maasai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast, head into the reserve for an extended game drive across the rolling savannah plains. The Mara is renowned for its exceptional wildlife and offers opportunities to see the Big Five, big cats, elephants, giraffes, zebras and large herds of wildebeest. Enjoy a picnic lunch or lunch at the lodge, depending on the day's program, before continuing your safari through the afternoon.

Day 8 | Maasai Village & Safari to Nairobi
After breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. The visit is optional: Provides an opportunity to learn about Maasai traditions, homes, crafts and daily life. After the visit, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight. If your flight is later or you are extending your stay, you can instead be dropped at your Nairobi hotel.
