Location & Historical Significance
Treetops is one of Kenya’s most iconic safari lodges. Elevated above the forest floor and overlooking a floodlit waterhole, it lies within Aberdare National Park along a historic elephant migratory route between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
The lodge is internationally known because Princess Elizabeth was staying here in 1952 when she ascended to the British throne.
Accommodation Style
Rooms are compact but atmospheric, built within a timber structure raised on stilts. The architecture gives guests a true “treehouse safari” experience.
